Why do I wear just regular clothes?
It is not that I have anything against suits.
I wear regular clothes because,
I represent Jesus,
who represented the little people.
He was the one who sat with the sinners.
I wear regular clothes,
for the homeless people who everyone thinks is a nobody.
I wear regular clothes,
for the elderly and the wise who get no respect.
I wear regular clothes,
so that I may spread the gospel to the thugs and gangsters.
I wear regular clothes so I can teach kids about the right way to live.
I wear regular clothes,
so that I may humble myself before other people.
As I said, I have nothing against suits.
Still, rather than spending one-thousand dollars to look nice,
I think I'll just take a shower, and wear regular clothes.
