Silent Nights

Not Mine

You took my innocence,

Ripped it from my body and chewed it with your venomous teeth,

Leaving me with nothing but a tainted, damaged good.

I've been told that it wasn't my fault, that I had done nothing wrong.

But what they don't understand is that it was all my fault.

I could have fought back

I could have screamed

But my words were lost in the cold night, along with my happiness.

I'm sorry Mom and Dad, but your sweet little girl is no longer alive.

She has been replaced with a coward, consumed with guilt that I could have stopped it.

I now seek out for something that may fill the void he left me with, even if that something is another man
