Look At Her

The Lost Poet

Look at her.

You would say she's pretty, joyful and playful, without trying to imagine.

You would say that life is easy, long and happy, without trying to imagine.

You would say more and less, without trying to imagine the truth.

Since always, in between too much and too less, with no one trying to understand.

Look at her.
She smiles, but not like she used to. Behind her smile there's always something off, disappointed, as if she was trying to hide her true emotions.

Look at her.
Frustration, anger and pain, hidden on her body, actions just to feel accepted.

Look at her.
Fear of feeding for fear of appearing.

Look at her.
The next time she laughs.

Look at her.
The next time she doesn't wear sleeves.

Look at her and you will know, that prejudices are just the cover of the book.
