Alive Again

mangosquid83

So much depends

Upon death

The food we devour

Someone dies every hour

Be it murder

Suicide

Accident

Homicide

Once they're gone

Then we see

Once they're gone

They'll never be

Alive again

Covered eyes

Count to ten

Alive again

Smiling faces

Broken-knee braces

Smell of flowers

Jumps from towers

Trying to escape life

Trying to survive strife

To see them

Just one more time

For that, we'd commit

Any crime

To hear their voices

Make important choices

Visit the dead

All in your head

Alive again

Someone dies

Bodies of men

Alive again

Loving

Dreaming

Hoping

Screaming

Cry hard enough

They'll all come home.
