Evergreen Winter

Evergreen Winter

In the wintry scenes

Some of the trees are evergreens

There to keep one feeling good

About the icy neighborhood

While the other trees are bare

The evergreens are somehow spared

With the deep winter snow

Background to the green they show

In the winter long

Some evergreens remain there strong

And really are a sight to see

With their boughs of emerald green

And when the snow is through

The evergreens all benefit too

With the rain washing them

Greener than they've ever been
