“Discernible Melancholy”

Andrew Guzaldo

And there you are,
Walking into another lost dream,
Your whispers and gentle smile,
Touching the memories,
That I hold dear,

Like the dream,
Our time was brief,
You turn and walk away as you did,
Once before you wanted more from me,

Once you said what will I do,
Without you,
If I only I would have remained,
Consistently it’s hard to do,

That I truly loved you,
 I awaken to your image,
Fading quickly,
And I decide to find you,
Some Day Some How!

Maybe to ask dispensation,
Although I know not what I did,
Maybe to ask what did I do wrong,
Am I too late has all dissolved,

Will I only be able to defer?
Only now to find you,
In my dreams as I shall.
Find Discernible Melancholy"
