My Demons

Chloe Rachel Flisher

Guess who’s back Chloe?

Your worst nightmare, your arch nemesis.

You missed me? I thought not.

But I am going to stay anyhow.

I’m your thought process,

I'm here to keep you reminded of faults.

You don’t like it? Tough keep crying,

I am here to stay!

Go look over at the mirror,

You see that?

Cellulite, imperfections, flabby tummy,

That is how we all see you!

You’re disgusting, no one cares - you still here?

Why? No one wants you here.

You're a failure, an embarrassment,

In fact a waste of a human life.

Oh you’re hearts beating erratically,

You’re scared? So you should be.

I'm the demon that lays inside.

See how you try opening up to them?

You think they care? Ha, jokes on you.

You’re worthless, why you still going?

Just do it, be gone.

How would you feel?

Living with the demon inside.

Smile you say?!

You have no clue!

I agree who made the standards of what is ok. What's ok to me may be feared by others

I hope you have some strong people around you, remember you're not your illness. It's temporary. Keep strong. CR x
