Determined, Alone

Jessie

The dark clouds surround

But I will escape

My limits unbound

Determined, awake

 

I can and will fight

Run a million miles

I’ll find truth and right

And face every trial

 

My purpose is found

I can’t be held down

A force to be reckoned

Becoming a legend

 

I’ll raise the heavens

And also raise hell

My demons can fight

Stronger than angels

 

Maybe the dark wins

To give you a fright

My bark becoming

Weaker than my bite

 

I may be alone

But I have myself

And I’m the unknown

That you fear the most.
