Determined, Alone

Jessie

The dark clouds surround

But I will escape

My limits unbound

Determined, awake

 

I can and will fight

Run a million miles

I’ll find truth and right

And face every trial

 

My purpose is found

I can’t be held down

A force to be reckoned

Becoming a legend

 

I’ll raise the heavens

And also raise hell

My demons can fight

Stronger than angels

 

Maybe the dark wins

To give you a fright

My bark becoming

Weaker than my bite

 

I may be alone

But I have myself

And I’m the unknown

That you fear the most.

    Yes the thought that straight comes to the mind is how powerful this is, focusing on thethe strengths despite any odds. Wow demons can fight stronger than Angels, that is creatively said, way to go. Kudos.
