who’s it due to harm?

hiandbyes

Notice of absence from hiandbyes
I’m in counselling and in and out of a residential. I’ll be back ASAP.

You made me stare at my arm.
Twisted lips,
Tear drops to the sink-
What a drip.
The tiny blade lounging in your fingertips, screaming
“Use me,use me- it’s been a while”
You know it’s wrong now,but,
It feels so right.
Who’s it due to harm?
So it digs in to a bloody treat,
You can taste the metal in the air but
Your tears are coming so fast

you can taste the salt,

But who cares? No time to overthink.
You drop the blade in shock at the damage,
Bathroom painted red,
Bathroom painted red?
Mother hates red, she’s going to get angry;
Clean it and do it in your bedroom or something.

Because nobody cares,

and only you get harmed.

        Welcome

This hits close to home, and having felt this I am filled with empathy towards you. I really hope things turn around if this still describes where you are at.

Poignantly written and well expressed however. This is a very beautiful piece.
