I prefer my music has some bass

With songs enjoyed at a rhythmic pace

Songs laid down as funky grooves

With the bass that makes me move

 

I am euphoric when I hear a song

With the bass loud and strong

Truly the beautiful melody

Builds on it rhythmically

 

And I can truly testify

That the bass gets me high

And my worries soon depart

When I hear the thumping part

 

All my blues go away

When I hear the bass each day

A part of my daily routine

Listening to music like a fiend

 

Nothing but the bass will do

When I need a fix or two

And only the bass can help me find

A natural high every time
