You do not own me

Birddie Jane

i am so confused

i don't know what to do

you hurt me

and you abused me

from a young age

i claimed i hated you

that i never wanted to know you

but i messaged you

short and to the point

i don't know why

but i said

i forgive you

i don't know

if i actually do

but i do know

you might have given birth to me

but i am not your daughter
