Eagle Scene

Eagle Scene

It was an eagle scene

The beautiful land so pristine

With a mountain rising high

As he went soaring by

He was never better

A stately one in the beautiful weather

Landing on an old dead limb

With others there watching him

Life was always good

In mother nature’s neighborhood

Where he soared way up high

With his mate by his side

He was a parent too

And provided for his little brood

Catching fish they would eat

With each bite a little treat

An empty nest left him proud

With screams of success very loud

And he knew more life would come

With his mate in the sun
