Our lives are just like raindrops
On a window
We don’t choose where we land, or who we land next to
Gravity pulls us in
Hurtles us forward
In the form of conflict, reflection, realization, love
And along the way
Drops join together to form something larger
Just as we do
And even though it’s a short trip to the bottom of the window
People have a funny way of remembering the path
Of just one drop
Because every drop is unique
Just as we are
