Fool

Baylee

Oh what a fool I’d be

if I were to let her go

Please,

be my fool

What if you were to listen

to that devil on your shoulder

instead of being her angel

for all eternity

I offer the mystery

of a new exploration

The excitement

of fresh adventure

My arms long to hold you

as she does

My lips wish to explore you

as hers do

My god, why can’t you see

what a true fool you’d be

if you didn’t end up with me.
