TrystanBehm

You travel the world the majority of your life

Mundane conversations with inconsequential people

The air you breathe

Until one day, your lungs burn hot and are immediately

Starved

In the most innocuous way she appeared

Unassuming and witty

A sense of self-worth and confidence

Wrapped in a beauty that leaves me without words

She could hold hers, or anyone’s, own

During conversations at the corner store, corner office

Or any intersection of the world

Like a Monet or Van Gogh

- I had to watch from a distance
