A Planet

Love, as a black trickling fall,

The hopelessness within rising sun and falling moon

The wish against a whisper of the day

Love, against a stone, a way of life or perturbed star

Hopes to find me, grit teeth crying,

Through a day, in the shadow of time, outside eternity

Outside the realm of someone’s love

Of someone’s hope, as tomorrow sets the way.

For One against the timeless act

Of drawing figures in the sand,

a girl with quiet fortitude,

A liar of her extra-solar love

A blue-eyed planet of the great above
