Dead Poets Society

Abu Aeesh

I walked on the sky craning my neck out the fluffy clouds to gaze at the mesmerizing green earth. Is this what it feels like to stand upside down? Making the obscure treasures dying in the corner of my eyes come back to life. To feel taller is why most people climb mountains but John Keating stroke the bell very hard when he said “... I stand upon my desk to remind myself that we must constantly look at things in a different way.” And the ways are plenty. So plenty that Wallace Stevens started with 'Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird' . He started by informing us, that the eye of the blackbird is the only moving thing among 20 snowy mountains.  In a black and white picture it could be “evening all afternoon”. And Cantor, the Mathematian concluded that “Some infinities are bigger than other infinities”. Now we're left with the delimma of where to begin or better yet, is it worth it or perhaps, there exists a shortcut to paradise. It's only in deciding to touch the ground and choosing humility can one begin. The rest? Would come sure enough.
