Silence

thetruthbehindmylies

Silence is the absence of sound
But not the absence of you
You are still around
I can feel your looming presence
Hiding behind the screen
Of your technology
Your silence a melody I once was fluent in
But now is a foreign language that I cannot interpret
It doesn’t really bother me
It is seriously just a mystery
That is much better than the toxicity of what once was our love
You never understood my philosophies
In why I would always try and figure out life
Like it was an equation with a solution
But somethings can resolved not solved
Like the mystery of you and I
Why did you commit that crime?
It really wasn’t very nice
But it made me blind
Forgetting that you were kind
Just as I have fallen out of your mind which is perfectly fine
I get ask questioned all the time
Do I want you to be punished for your crimes
While I go and live my life
But I know that isn’t right
They ask me why am I being so kind
All your harsh word swish around my mind
Am I just hypnotised by your blue eyes
Searching for you to be nice
You could stab me with a knife
I would apologise
Be your human Sacrifice
Which is obviously not alright
Which is why your silence is so kind
Because your words are knifes
And nothing you can say can rectify what has been done
So I will just dry my eyes
And let you know before
I let you go
