Pressure

thetruthbehindmylies

If I drink this poison
We will be friends
Because I am not enough
Without this chemical in my veins
Ignore the decay that it causing in my brain
Because for just a few moments I will feel less insane
But I won’t even remember that anyway
Just be awoken by a numbing pain
With each sip I feel myself drifting away
the high is worth it they say
But they hesitate
This is what we are suppose to do at this age
Haven’t you heard it is the new rage
But to me this isn’t game
I have watched family waste away
By doing the same
I don’t want end up that way
