“No Longer Inhabited”

Andrew Guzaldo

Divulging the terrors of the love I had,
Awestruck as to what is amiss,
I am hopeful there awaits in our
Macrocosm,
A lonely soul to find another lonely soul,

Beseeching in anew an overpowering
Sensation,
Not befuddled as it now causes my thoughts,
That of an anesthetized shallow depth,
The remote feeling within,

Compels such a woeful sensation,
The treachery that has lurked as my,
Love once that grew was now devoid,
It constraints my imminent desperation,
Agitates my thoughts and days into nightmares,

Then I am slowly vanquished in that,
Of a new infatuation an alluring pulchritudinous,
As reality enters into my veins pumping,
Of new life to feel free once again,
As the lust and fantasy subside,
I am now no longer inhabited of terror”
