Letter to Myself

outsidetoinside

Dear me,

you've come a long way. You've journeyed through tough times, happy moments, loss of friends, sad moments. Yet, here you are.

Do yourself a favor, don't let anyone write your path, that's on you. Take control of your own life, and hold dear what is important. Your so-called "friends" will only be there partly. Along with friends, family will let you down. Take charge. Friends and family want you to be one way, but you are the one that can truly make you, you.

I know you, ha, I am you. You get let down easily. You allow others to tell you how to act, how to think. You're scared to share what you love, because the people you've chosen to be with judge your opinion harshly.

They may not love you, but I do.
