Have I tried so hard to be perfect that I forgot
to find my personal plot.
I'm years ahead of peers on studies and whatnot
but on personal interaction, I'm a robot
and they're a hotshot.
My time spent with textbooks and laptops has been a lot
but my time with expressions has been squat.
My studies are my entire lot
So I've never made the time to indulge in a different kinda thought.

Well written and interesting poem. Made me think. It is also very timely if we look at how little people interact on a one-on-one basis instead of through texting, facebook, twitter, etc.
