What a surprise it was

That day I heard you say “Hi”

Correct me if I’m wrong

But didn’t I see hope in your eye?

 

If there’s hunger in your heart

And a dream unfulfilled

An infinite thirst for love

 The man for the job, I will

 

If your heart is thirsty for love

I’ll be your cup of tea

And your glass of wine

Help yourself to a drink of me?

 

I’ll chase your smile by day

Provoke your laughter by night

Keep you safe and warm

Till the Sun’s early light

 

I crave your smile

Like the air I breathe

And I too thirst for love

The garden of love we weave

 

Life is too short

To spend it all alone

Love needs a place to grow

Two hearts to build a home

 

We’ve both been in love before

We can’t count on stars above

Love begins with two hearts

Two hearts thirsty for love

    Love comes along in its own way my friend. You dont have to be hungry for it or ready for it. You could even be avoiding it, but it will get you.
    Laugh at romantic love and how it comes into your life. Enjoy it, celebrate it, remember it, respect it. For love will find you at your finest - it brings out the best in us all.
