THE WALLS YOU HELPED BUILD

Caprib97

I told you every thought I had and opened my heart so wide but then you came rushing in to punch out all my pride I trusted you more than anyone else and then you just helped build this brick wall around my heart keeping me from trusting

Then you just walked away never seeming to care leaving me with this burden of not being able to share for anyone who comes to help me tear down my walls so thick only ends up leaving another brick

For I love one man and one man only it hard to open up for the walls you left behind get thicker every year
You're the reason I am this way you raised me to be myself but then you go and break me just to hurt yourself
For I may have walls too thick to break through but you have no one left
I still have an army and at my side they will stick
I may not trust full heartedly but I am doing my best and with every brick added on I know it will still one day break for my true family still loves me and no walls can last forever one day they have to fall

    I really like this!
It’s filled with anger, pain, disappointment and fear.
But, in the closing, you show your strength.
    Good job 👍
