Those Big Brown Eyes,

I know them very well. 

From the first time we met, I knew we had a connection. 

As each day became weeks and soon weeks became months and later years, I grew very fond of, 

Those Big Brown Eyes. 

 The eyes are the window to the soul, a bridge to the heart, and a receptor of all joy, pain, and sadness. 

I truly understand that from the time I spent gazing into, 

Those Big Brown Eyes. 

I’ve seen them brighten up as the sun light shines down on them on a hot summer day, I’ve seen them twinkle in the night as the day came to an end, and I’ve seen them overflow with tears from sadness and frustration. 

All of these experiences have allowed me to see deeper within, 

Those Big Brown Eyes. 

 I truly saw what my heart and mind allows knew was there all along. I saw dreams, aspirations, hope, faith, and a beautiful soul dwelling within. 

The time we spent together will always be some of my best times. Through all the ups and downs, the good as well as the bad, and changes that life brings; I will always and forever remember,

 As I sit here reminiscing, the only regret I have the most is that I didn’t spend more time looking into,

I would give anything just to feel the connection once more. The only hope I have right now is that as time goes on, as the woes of life come raging in like an angry bull and adversity rears its ugly head; Those Big Brown Eyes continue to keep shining, blessing the world with it’s beauty.
