Jacqueline The Ripper

rrivera138

We're holding husks.
Our souls excavated in a tryst;
it's become cold under these covers.

We'll be ripped to shreds
when thick silence
overcomes the babel.
You thought wrong,
now we're both victims.

Slide our shells back on,
don't forget to smile;
we were never friends,
we were never even similar.

Never knife fight the devil.
Glazed eyes are an awful look,
and paranoia is infectious.
We're inside out now;
romance killed prematurely.
