Critical

Katelynn

I don't want to close my eyes
Why pretend I'm going to sleep
When I know damn well I'm going keep lying here wide awake?
Waiting for the breath you take, to come back
I can't relax, cocked like a twelve gauge
Feeling it like a teenage crush
You're a habit that I can't ever get enough of
What you do to me is critical
For when I look in those eyes
I feel like flying through stop lights
Looking at the cops behind as if I've got nothing to lose
Honey you've got me burning like a match stick
Take me to the edge and then take one step past it
It's not right, it's not typical
What you do to me is critical
I have the right to remain silent
But there's no way that I can
I'm wired like a ticking time bomb
It's so wrong, but it feels right
Tonight you're repeating like an echo
Yeah I'd steal, just to keep on feeling what I feel when I'm with you
What you do to me is critical
For when I look in those eyes
I feel like flying through stop lights
Looking at the cops behind as if I've got nothing to lose
Honey you've got me burning like a match stick
Take me to the edge and then take one step past it
It's not right, it's not typical
What you do to me is critical
Don't try to save me
You never going save me
What you do me is critical
