The Loving Eight (The Kind Ghost)

AuburnScribbler

I can see you, but you can’t see me,

I’m seeing you spin your revelry,

Although I’m not there to join your fun,

Hear my whispers from the Sun,

My body is gone and is now concealed

But, here in Heaven, I can reveal

In seeing you, I’m feeling proud,

Doing your good deeds, from this cloud.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Towards the end of January, two people in my life suddenly passed. Although I met them only a few times, I felt that there was an affinity between us. This short poem is what I hope they are saying to all their loved ones and hopefully to me, and also I hope that (with good faith) that this poetic message, is close to what you hear from a loved one you have lost. I hope you enjoy and RIP Lee and Grace x
