Season of death

sophia oriana

As the leaves wither and dry, and warmth gives her last kiss goodbye.

When the skies turn a melancholy grey, and the awful weather causes for a vacant bay.

When apple trees are picked until bare. Corn is now a maize.  People jump in the leaves.

Orange and red plants are used in wreaths. Autumn is beautiful and also a snare. A season of death, but its pretty so who cares.
