Releasing the Demons

notapoet

I want to scream

But I’m down to my last breath

I want to cry

But I fear my death

But today I will be silent

And hold it all in

And let the demons subside

Within me again

 I want to shout

But I’m down to my last breath

I want to laugh

In the face of death

But today I will be silent

And hold it all in

And let the demons subside

Within me again

Tomorrow I will do it

Take a deep breath

Scream and cry

Without fear of death

Release all my demons

For all the world to see

Let them all out

Before they kill me

But today I will be silent

And hold it all in

And let the demons subside

Within me again.

Great write mate, sometimes we all want to scream out our pain but just continuously hold it in and it never be said.

Appreciate the comment and read, yes it's sometimes hard for some people to release whats inside, and for the unfortunate ones it ends up killing them emotionally. Thanks again....

Great poem! I think you are full of courage. It's good to let it out.
