A Vampire’s Love

Saint Sinner

My forever beloved, I’ve spent many moons looking up at the dark starless sky instead of hunting through town to slaughter the innocent of their delectable crimson blood.

I’d stare up for hours just to get lost in the white abyss of the moon that stayed up in its black ocean, falling deeper into my mind, thinking about how you slept under the same starless sky with a moon that could captivate the damnedest soul like how your voice used to do to me on countless nights whenever I got you in the mood with a single touch or kiss.

Sometimes, I’ll wait till sunrise just to get a quick second of warmth upon my face, a heavenly feeling for most, but an unwanted death sentence for me, though worth all the risk to feel the warmth that matches the warm kisses you used to leave upon my lips in the mornings before work.

Ever since you died in my arms that dreadful night after the car crash, I’ve damned my soul in ways God would never forgive, damned to live an eternity with only memories of you. I don’t want to live anymore with just mere memories of you, when I’m ready to give up this life of carnage to be by your side once again.

Ah, the sun’s coming up… I’m on my way, my love.
