Through The Great Unknown

Edthepoet

Who you love today
Might be gone tomorrow
For nothing is given
In this life that we borrow

What you know today
Might be wrong tomorrow
For nothing is wisdom
Unless it's learned from sorrow

The great unknown
Is where we're going
The great unknown
In which we're roaming
Through the great unkown
That we call home.

Who you are today
Might not belong tomorrow
For nothing is certain
In illusions of control

Words you spoke today
Might be a song tomorrow
for all you think you know
You could be somebodies hero

The great unknown
Is where we're going
The great unknown
In which we're roaming
Through the great unknown
That we call home.
