Fog Up Ahead

Fog Up Ahead

There was fog up ahead

Settled over the ground

Hiding from clear sight

All the cars that slowed down

Unaware of the danger

And running a little late

A car sped ahead

Failing to use his brakes

A rear-end collision

Was left when the fog was gone

With the accident that day

Bending metal strong

All did survive

But would relive the crash again

Awakening in the night

As the metal bent

The tragic accident scene

Showed no sign of fault

Visibility was to blame

Said the traffic cop
