Have you ever been awake at just the right time
When the stars are bright and the sun’s at its prime
Where the horizon is purple and the sky’s all dark
God smiling down as he makes his mark
Have you ever seen between night and dawn
Right before you open your eyes and let out that yawn
Pastels fill the heavens and angels sing down
Entertaining the eyes of your small little town
Have you ever just stared at the glory of that sky
Have you ever just glanced and started to cry
So vast so open and so beautiful too
Making you wish you'd never see that cloudy blue
So next time you’re alone just wait for that hour
Just sit and be still there is no need to cower
Wait for that moment where light and dark meet
Because that moment is short and ever so sweet

Good write Oliver. Doh! I missed all that. I was asleep. I must wake up at 3.34am. Will it still be there at 3.35am?! heehee.
Erm, more like about 6.34am for us in the UK at the moment - the dawn!
Great write
Very nice, makes me feel alive
