what if our spirits
were different hues
I think mine would be red
and yours would be blue
your mind is an ocean
both stormy and calm
your heart is a sapphire
I hope to me it belongs
but my heart is a sun
my soul is on fire
love's so hot it burns
and I fight for my desires
yet my favorite color
is not red but blue
I ask you what's yours
and to my surprise
you also answer blue
so I changed mine to red
because I need love too
