To an Ex

Vanz

I remember it like it was yesterday.

The day I begged you to come over.

The day before you left for Greece.

We cuddled on my bed for hours,

I kissed you right as my mom walked in.

I risked everything that day...for you.

We pulled away too fast for my liking,

But just fast enough for her.

I miss those memories...

I miss that touch...

But don't mistake this poem...

Because I miss all of that,

But I don't miss you
