SPECIAL YOU

Suyianka Dennis

Ooh you,

Of you I just can't get enough

The memories of you entangle my entire being

My brain captive to your flawless nature

Your infectious stature for me a priceless picture

A picture that forever will be ingrained in mine brain

Your gracious body ointment to my grieving soul

When the world's wrath reigns,

my constant love for you prevails

However frequent my energy drains,

the story of us that I must write rejuvenates

Wherever through rough terrain I drive,

the cosy end makes the drive worthwhile

Yet one wish persists still-

that you let me love you

For us I see a vision of passion

A lifetime of perfection yet made so by imperfect love

For them a point of admiration,

a source of inspiration,

a season of revelation,

the window of opportunity,

the vanishing of old writings

Romeo and Juliet an old picture,

a torn portrait

You and me the big deal, the real deal;

the reigning sceptre

Please let me love you for my unwavering love for you will finally draw you to love me
