I wrote a song the other day.
You heard it’s melody,
and tried so hard to make it about yourself.
But the lyrics didn’t fit.
So you applied them to him instead, and suddenly
crystal clarity.
but what you didn’t know...
what even I didn’t know...
the song was about me.
to me.
from me.
by me.
for me.
and it took you to make me see that.

Love the twists and turns in this poem. Alex, this sounds like magic. You could have called it 'crystal ball'. Tried to make it about myself, but you are right, it is not, it is definitely for you! Great imaginative writing!!!
