Newsman
He chased the story where it went
And uncovered its extent
With his laptop and his phone
The only tools that he owned
To get the story he was told
To visit with folks young and old
And hear what they have to say
About the drama of the day
Just the facts he would type
Trying to get the story right
Searching for a front page story
A boring piece his only worry
A talented writer he did just fine
With his story right on time
And the readers all content
As if they too had experienced it
