A Sea of Trees

Noah

I'm Lucky Dead
The echo in your head
That brings you back to your bed.

Dug by your hands
Shaking cold in the rain
Sowing your chains out from my stains.

We've met in the ocean
I'm only caught in your blind spot
Lucky me, an opening for an onslaught.

I'm Lucky Dead
You cannot win
What have I got to lose.

In a battle of nitwits
A rumble in the gravel pit
Let's see who can out wit which twit.

A jab here and there
A knock on the spot
Then again I'm probably the villain in this plot.

Then again we'll see
Then again
Isn't my name Lucky
