Your Metro

RogueAvalanche

Whiz after Whiz
I can still feel the life in your heart
Your platform so eccentric and warm
Where you stand malleable yet rigid
In the sky of people, you are gracious and splendid

To which you don't know fully
For I wish to know in all tally
Whereas you can be complex but be so simple
With a big blessed smile and a shiny round dimple

Your ticket is not free
But I'll take it you see
For through the years
but behind your ears
I have been riding your train
Through darkness and pain

I just don't know how to get your attention
Without jeopardizing our relation
I just wish to tell you before you reach your destination.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This is a poem that describes a character's love of someone, by interpreting them as a metro. This is not finished but I would love some feed back and suggestions. Also this is one of my first poems :) Thank you for reading!
