Lysergic Tide

Syd

In the dead of night
Tasting winter sun

No stopping
What has started

A chain reaction...

The psychonaughts
Educational trip has begun

Lock the doors
Batton down the hatch
The only way to ride
This wild stallion...

Is bareback

Infinite wisdom....
Or cataclysm?

Stairways both to
Heaven & Hell
In peripheral vision

Thrill seeking
Magical bike ride
Batch 25
Impending doom
Back in the room
Only 6 hours more
To survive

Distorted
Space time
Origins of religion
Catalyst
Of crimes

Shadows breath as
Rationality leaves

Must laugh
Or you'll cry

Derived from
Ergot
A fungus found
In the wild

No way to tame
Albert Hofmanns'
Problem Child

Pebbles on a beach
Shine so bright
After the retreat
Of the lysergic tide

What was dull before
Now brilliantly shone
In the warm afterglow...

Of winter sun

The read takes you on a trip.
And like many trips taken, there’s
Some beautiful things along the ride.
    Also , some scary S**t.
    I loved it!
