Before

Katelynn

Just an average girl, she always wore a smile, she was cheerful and happy for a while.
Now that she's older things are getting colder.
Life's not what she, she just wished someone had told her.
When she told you she was down, you just let slip by.
So from then on she just kept it on the inside.
She kept telling her self she was alright, but she was just telling herself white lies.
Couldn't you tell?
Her eyes font shimmer like they use too. Now they are just dull eyes.
She tried to stop herself from crying every night even when she thought there would be a chance of being alright, other things decided to turn.
No matter the day, all she wore was long sleeves because those cuts on her arm were bleeding. No one else could see.
She knew she was depressed but didn't want to admit it.
She carried on like a soldier with a battle wound.
She had no friends at school, always alone she sat there hoping she would be where else but here.
Those were no mistake, yet no one cares enough to save from this self hate.
Things started to go down and never really good. Now she's stuck in a stupid rut. She could only think of one thing to do next.
She tried one too many times. Nothing bad ever happend although she didn't know what to do. No one was there.
Where were you?
She knew her parents weren't the ones to blame it was the world that should bow down it's head in shame.
She sat up on the roof and looked out to the moon. Just hoping it will all be over soon.
She's not who she use to be. Her fair skin is just pale and her face so violently bare.
Tears rolling down her face.
She's been trying for so long to fix this and fit in I've come to realize this world is full of sin, there's nothing for me here I'm just a waist of space, she thought she had no reason to stay here with this awful race. It's a disgrace she was was misplaced. Born in the wing time and in the wrong place. Sometime you'll see her soon, you'll know your time had come. Just look up at the moon as it shines bright throughout the night and remember everyone's facing their own fight. She knows they say she is a fighter but she can't deal with the pain, just not the fighter.
Hope she'll make it through the night just hugging her pillow tighter. The world around her wasn't the one to blame, it was those who doubted, gave up, and shoved her aside. Those who hurt her, drove to hurt herself, to hurt others around her.
Things started lightening up and she started to forget as well as others started to forget her. She knew she wasn't really something to be dwelled on. Her presence there were no longer needed and if anything shed hope this makes you stronger. Just remember you were everything to her and now you get to live with that regret you while life. You can't forget it. It drove you crazy. Still to this day you won't stop talking to her just to ask her if she's ok and if she needs anything. You had your chance. Where were you when she needed you the most?
You thought bringing her down and hurting her was ok?
What good are you bringing her now?
All your doing is taking her back to when she was nothing to you, yet here you are, wishing she would be your everything.
She trusted you.
It's time to go I'm running out of space to write.
Yes I lost this fight but please just hold on tight. Things get better, I promise. It's never to late to change.
