Homophones.

Dysthymia

A peace of mind
A piece I can’t find
Some peace and quite
For a piece to enlight
The happiness I wait
The shoulders there is weight
In my chest there’s a knot
To untie I can not
Just sit and stare
I walk up the stairs
To the bright sun
The father, son
To the rite
I will write
With wright
The right to write.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I like the idea of what I came up with the homophones. I don’t really like what this poem came up to and I kind of rushed it. Plus it doesn’t really flow correctly for me. But I’ll soon write another homophone poem to my liking sooner or later.
