“FERVOR Love and Sorrow”

Andrew Guzaldo

When true love finally arrives,
It’s like a deluge of ecstasy,
It vanquishes your every move,
Your heart mind body and Soul,

When this loves arrives to your heart,
There is naught that is inaccessible
At that moment when there I and thee,
There is nothing insurmountable to perceive,

One at that moment feels tears will not endure,
There will be no place for them,
The happiness of ecstasy you feel equitably,
Then comes tomorrow that of misery,

Now I have defined and feel a mutilated heart,
It is now that my heart has been broken,
The feelings I have had are for naught,
It was in my mind a cull has replaced the love,

I was deceived and I know not why,
I do however hold the dreams always,
And that of what tomorrow may bring,
How can I again meet such a love?
Until then it shall be fervor of,
  Love and Sorrow”
