We have known each other since we were young

We went to school together and had so much fun

But when we grew up we had to part

But you will always be inside my heart

You went to "Batley Grammer" as I went to "Newesome" High

Every time I am near you my heart is in the sky

We still keep in touch

But I don't see you quite as much

We saw each other the other day

But though we were in the car

We had so much to say.
