Blackmail And Carbon Lung

Noah Malice

Eyes cast down to shoes on the train
Silence undisturbed but their brains
Amplify every sound
Flying past the shaking trees

Sunlight on a cloud teases me
Fight to remember reverie
In this light I have found
Sailing by on open sea

Old flames sit to bruise in the rain
No shame in snuffing out but pain
Echoes all through the ground
Smoking up all around me
