Only Then

Resa71

Once the angry voices have faded to a hush,
The walls of tyranny have crumbled, melted into a dormant slush.

Angeles sigh,
As we kiss them goodbye.
No longer needed here on earth.
All of humankind embrace their differences,
Acknowledging each other’s worth.

Man and gods unite, become a force of one.
Repairing the fractures, frailties and fraying, of our morale fiber currently undone.

Only then , will we understand the earths meaning and truth.
Only then, will this wave of insanity end.
Then we’ll be able to protect our youths, our neighbors, our friends.
