You Idiot

Paxton Tate

Picture this...

You're standing on the side railing of a bridge,

you are preparing to jump,

you fight back tears,

feeling in your throat, the lump that has formed.

You close your eyes, take a deep breath.

Someone pulls your arm by surprise, just as you were falling.

You fall into that mystery person's arms and frown.

"I was supposed to die." you say.

"I...I couldn't let you, if you die, then so do I. I would lose my whole world."

Your heart starts beating hard and you smile...Someone actually cares,

you idiot.
