Rainbows
A rainbow after the storm
Is a most interesting thing
While the clouds are still gray
It shines most beautifully
When I take time to look
I see the arch's span
Like watercolors in the sky
With no clear beginning or end
I feel relief for a moment
When the rainbow there appears
And when there are two or more
I know the storm has cleared
I do not curse the rain
As it makes the pastures green
And without a little rain
No rainbows would be seen

Good write wc. Where exactly is the end of the rainbow? You got that pot of gold yet?! heehee.
Still searching for the pot of gold. Thanks for your comment.
Rainbows never stay still long enough to get to the end of one! Nice poem.....
